Westminster is excited to welcome Dr. Herman Selderhuis to speak at our 10th annual Gaffin lecture. Dr. Selderhuis will speak on “The Heart of the Matter: Luther’s Concept of Reformation.”
About the Speaker
Herman J. Selderhuis is professor of Church History at the Theological University Apeldoorn (The Netherlands) and director of Refo500, the international platform on projects related to the 16th century. He wrote his PhD on Marriage and Divorce in the Thought of Martin Bucer (published 1997) and is the author and editor of several books, including John Calvin: APilgrim’s Life (2009) and Luther: A Man Searching for God(2016). Dr. Selderhuis also functions as president of the Reformation Research Consortium (RefoRC), president of the International Calvin Congress, and Curator of Research at the John A. Lasco Library (Emden, Germany).
